Even though entering their first-ever European adventure, Crystal Palace are adapting at a rapid pace. Without key players like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the London club left Dublin with a commanding result that all but secures them a place in the Europa Conference League playoffs.
A further victory in their upcoming fixture against Finland's KuPS should be enough to secure straight passage to the knockout stages, particularly following a previous stumble against Strasbourg.

This match offered a platform for some of Palace's fringe talent to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second start after arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a well-taken goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah added a another, scoring for the second consecutive match.

The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt strike off both posts before being gathered on the line. Uche then missed a glaring chance, showing there is still scope for improvement in his game.
A solitary worry for Palace was a second-half injury to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This allowed 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to make his senior debut, capping an otherwise perfect night for the visiting side.
